Many people are not aware of this but for several years I have been working on writing a book. There have been many gaps of time where other projects have taken priority over the book. The project never went away even though there were many obstacles.
The name of the book is Followership: A Theological Understanding of Christian Leadership. The initial release has been available on Amazon since July 31, 2024.
This book is different from many other Christian Leadership books. It is not full of leadership plans, skills, steps to take, or leadership philosophies. It does not give you 12 steps to become a better Christian leader. What this book does is it attempts to help you develop a biblically-based theology of Christian Leadership. Before you can develop your leadership skills you must have a good solid theology of leadership and understand what is different about Christian Leadership.
The book was written for current Christian leaders as well as leadership students. I hope that people will read this book and use it to develop a good theology of Christian Leadership. Even if you disagree with some of the thoughts in the book, it is hoped that you will learn some things to help you become a better Christian Leader through having a biblical theology of Christian Leadership.
